Melanie and Russell

This was one amazing wedding…..  Glorious Manor House, Men in Sporrans, Bride in fountain and Orange skies……..

Melanie and Russell have to be one the most laid back couples we have had the pleasure to meet…  The venue was to be The Five Arrows Hotel in Waddesdon.  The home of the famous Rothchilds. Waddesdon Manor .

The Five Arrows  at the gates of Waddesdon Manor built on the site of an old coaching inn.  Its name is derived from the Rothschild family emblem of a shield surmounted by five arrows, pointing upward and tied with a ribbon.  Each of the arrows represents one of the five sons of Mayer Amschel Rothschild, founder of the Rothschild dynasty, who were sent by their father to establish banking houses in the five financial capitals of Europe – Frankfurt, Vienna, Paris, Naples and London.

Guests and family arrived for the celebrations  and  and boy did they celebrate…

Melanie and little Lilly were getting ready with the help of mum and make up and hair artist.  While the chaps were donning their Kilts and Sporrans….  Tonja was a little worried as the Ushers had suggested doing a unison handstand…. all for the camera of course!

Melanie wore a stunning dress in a roaring 20’s style from Belle & Bouquet.

The weather held  and the ceremony was held in the Barn and then guests went out into the gardens for canapes and  drinks.

The barn was then transformed into the wedding Reception where everyone was to be seated.  Speeches were were made and guests were served…

Later a sudden surprise as two of the waiters decide to give their congratulations to Melanie and Russell and sing Opera to everyone.

With a few cheeky lyric changes.

The day was finished of with  photos at the Manor House where Melanie could not resist jumping into the Fountain…….

Well, some had too……didn’t they?
